I purchased the 48" gas pro range new on 2-11-11 for over $6000 as part of my dream kitchen. I had it professionally installed on 3-10-11.
The oven has never worked! I've had documented service calls on 4-14, 5-18, 6-29 and 7-7 with the next one scheduled for this Wednesday 7-13. I've called CPS to get the gas pressure checked and it is OK".
I've been told it's the circuit board or gas sensors or bad ground/. I'm not mad at the tech as they have done everything Jenn Air told them to do over the phone?.
After reading the reviews and complaints about Jenn Air circuit boards and fires etc:., I'm scared that I got stuck with a dangerous appliance that is going to give me a lifetime of misery:.
I should have sucked it up and paid the big bucks for the Wolf, DCS, Viking or Thermador|. This unit is pretty but that's all/. Maybe I'll get to cook in the *** thing by Thanksgiving?. Stay far far away from these units and be forewarned! 1290a8e

My husband and I are in the process of building our dream house and after pricing the Wolf, Viking and the other high end 48" duel fuel ranges, we thought we might need to look at a less expensive alternative. After reading your posting I think we will cough up the extra bucks for the Wolf. Thanks for keeping us from making an expensive mistake. |
